Site Promotion - Your Key To Success
As a Hosting Reseller this is the most important page on your site. If you do not get your site seen,
your success will be greatly limited. For this reason we have created a step by step success guide
which will help you get the traffic you need.
Item 1 - MANUALLY PROMOTE TO THE MAJOR ENGINES
Most companies will tell you to use the 1000+ Search Engine promotion. This works GREAT but
sometimes some of the big boys now do not accept them. You WILL NOT get listed on Yahoo by using the
promote 1000. Don't get us wrong it is a great tool but it will not guarantee success. Make sure to
manually promote to Yahoo, Excite, InfoSeek, NetFind, Webcralwer and any other major engine.
Item 2 - GET LISTED ON THE HOSTING DIRECTORIES!
Most of these are free and some do charge. It is one of the best places to spend your time and
advertising budget. Make sure to have good descriptions and sales paragraphs. It may take up to a few
hours per site but it is well worth it.... This can generate a few sales per day if done correctly! If you
want to track your sales from each of the hosting directories use the power of your Affiliate tracking
system! Simply create a reseller for each of the directories and Place the name in as the affiliates name.
Then when you get an order you will know where it came from! Great when you want to start larger
advertising campaigns!
There are always new ones available by going to Yahoo and searching for Hosting Directories.
Item 3 - TREAT YOUR FREE RESELLERS RIGHT!
You may notice how your site was designed with an extreme emphasis of resellers in mind. This included all
types of promotion tools and an assurance program to make sure they get credit for their sale. You may
think that you are giving away profits to your free resellers, but in fact they are giving you business you more
often then not would have never found. So treat your resellers right as they are one of a companies main
reasons for success or failure.
Item 4 - CREATE YOUR OWN FREE RESELLERS AND PROMOTE TO THE ENGINES!
Create some of your own free resellers accounts (6 Total will work great as you can use these accounts
on item 3 also). They have a targeting feature on the main page which due to design could not be
incorporated into your main page. Make sure to follow the directions and spend time in the targeting part of
the page, (3 paragraphs or so) this will allow you to be placed high on the search engines, and will increase
your sales. After completing this make sure to promote each URL via the Free submission service or with
our 1000+ site promotion service once (and only once) every month. Make each account Unique, and does
not keep using the same keywords and paragraphs. So target hosting and resellers in one account, and
your home town and surrounding communities in another. Create several accounts targeting not only those,
but MLM, network marketing, home business, and other phrases that ambitious people may find and join
your promotion campaign.
Item 5 - USE THE RESELLERS PROMOTION PAGE TOOLS
Make sure to use ALL of the tools on your sites
Resellers Promotion Page. A great resource you must
work with is the Traffic Pages. To use all 6 pages at the same time you will have to create 6 Free resellers
accounts for yourself, as we only allow 1 Traffic page per reseller. This may take time but it is well spent,
and they can also be used for targeting as mentioned in Item 2. We have had thousands of hits a day from
these wonderful pages, and it can make your site traffic explode. If you do not know of any people to get
these pages started we suggest you use
ICQ,
PowWow,
AOL Instant Messenger or any other internet
communication tool and go into random chat. You can then talk to a few random people and start sending
them your promotion URL's using that method. These are very popular and there are millions of users on
each of theses programs so you will never run out of leads.
Item 6 - NEVER USE ANY FORM OF BULK EMAIL
Never Use any form of Bulk Email or SPAM practices to promote your site. This is not allowed and will
carry a $100 fine per incident. This is also grounds for deactivation of your account.
